El Cortijo La Prensa Hotel offers thirteen luxurious guestrooms, each with a terrace or balcony, a/c, and in-floor heat to keep you warm on a chilly night. Some suites also have dressing rooms. And each of our suites is elegant, comfortable, and relaxing.

Want to relax? Lounge beside our fresh water swimming pool (no chlorine or salt) - it’s so pure you could drink it. Our ten acres of Olive groves and gardens also contain a sauna, Jacuzzi, workout centre, and Roman temple, all on the banks of two rivers, and surrounded by dramatic mountain ranges. Wander along tree-lined pathways, enjoy the trilling water fountains and beautiful flowers, and the many varieties of birds (bee eaters, white owls, eagles and more) in our valley.
Hotel El Cortijo La Prensa is in the heart of the Andalusia region of Spain, close to Sierras Subbeticas National Park, and an easy drive to Cordoba, Granada, Seville, and Malaga. There are also many other charming towns and villages nearby.
We offer our guests a relaxing atmosphere – more a country house than a hotel. The property is decorated with wonderful "PICASSO" reproductions from his Guernica collection. Guests are welcome to gather in our lounge, with its cheery log fireplace - snuggle up in front of the fire with a book from our library, which includes a number of volumes about Spain in general and the Andalusian Region in particular.
We also have our Mitzi’s Courtyard Bar and Abaco Bar (winter only) - a great place to meet friends and other guests.
