This patrician house was built in 1460 and is still inhabited by the owners, who live in the main flat, and are glad to welcome visitors.
The Residenza is right on via Fillungo, the main street of the city center, in the pedestrian area, close to parking lots, train and bus terminals.
We provide accommodation at our residence on a daily or a weekly basis (minimum stay 3 nts), perfect for discovering this splendidly preserved city and its surroundings, featuring great Tuscan hillsides, wild forests mountain National parks, splendid art cities such as Florence and Pisa, and large sandy beaches, including renowned Torre del Lago gay beach, just 15 miles from our town.
It’s also great for folks who appreciate the warmth, elegance and friendly hospitality of a living genuine old Tuscan patrician house.
This exclusive residence is a very romantic, single apartment for 2, right next to the owners’ flat.
It’s very large and comfortable - more than 50 square meters wide, ceilings are 4 meters high -, and has its own separate entrance for guest privacy. It has been restored using only valuable traditional materials, respecting the original structure.
It includes a sleeping alcove with a romantic wrought iron double-bed, a large living area with elegant furniture, an eat-in kitchen with antique table and built-in cabinetry, and a large marble bathroom. From the balcony, you can see part of the old city’s roofs and monuments.

The residence is open all year round, but we suggest reservations be made no later than 3 weeks in advance.
The apartment can only accomodate two adults.
The apartment has all the possible comforts, including radio, color tv, stereo, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave, as well as books and guidebooks in many languages. We also provide linens, towels, kitchenware, gas, heating, air conditioning, water and electricity as well as a cleaning service. Telephone line and wi-fi broadband dataport are available too. All this is included in the daily price.
The palace is in one of the most beautiful parts of Lucca, nestled between the impressive 900-year-old church of San Frediano, a Romanesque style masterpiece, and the dramatic Piazza Anfiteatro, a famous round square located right on top of a 2000-years-old Roman amphitheatre.
This district is also known for its nice boutique stores and fine cafés and restaurants. Famed musicians Puccini and Boccherini were both born just a few steps from here, and many Italian artists and writers used to live in this area.
The owner and his staff will be happy to give you advice and tips regarding local excursions, museums, shops or restaurants, and to offer you any possible further assistance.
We can also offer individual Italian language courses upon request.
Daily rates from 100 to 130 euro all included for two people. Weekly reates from 650 euro to 850.
