The only strictly gay hotel in Amsterdam. Hotel The Golden Bear is Amsterdam’s first exclusively gay-hotel since 1948 located in two historic buildings dating from 1737. Situated in the very centre of Amsterdam The Golden Bear is close to all the gay bars, clubs and saunas.
Hotel The Golden Bear offers you clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Some have a private bathroom, others share a shower and toilet on the same floor. All rooms have central heating, a wash-hand basin with cold and hot water, a personal safety deposit box and direct dial telephone. All single rooms are furnished with double bedsCable TV is available in all rooms and are equipped with a DVD player. WIFI internet access is available in all rooms using your laptop and for other guests internet is available in the lounge after breakfast at € 2,00 per half hour.
And, you get your own front door key as the reception is open from 8 AM till 11 PM.
Our free extensive Dutch breakfast is served in the cosy lounge between 8:30 and 12:00.
Rates from € 62,- to € 116,- per single or double room per night, inclusive breakfast. Higher rates and minimum stays may apply for holidays and special events.
