Ranier and Ole are two very wonderful people!!! My partner and I loved them both and loved talking to them out front while enjoying the company of locals and drinking great beer - 64.128.39.238

Going to Berlin for shopping, sightseeing or gayscene - you do not get it much better and simpler than Ole and Rainers Pension Elefant!
Location: From Tegel airport bus X9 gets you directly to Bahnhof Zoo and therefrom only one stop with U2 to Wittenberg (takes only 30 min and costs only €2.30). Shopping: you got Tauentzienstrasse and Ku’dam right around the corner. Gayscene: three bars just down the stairs and a club.
Eventhough being so central, it is situated in a very cosy and quite street with trees.
Rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated - free tee and coffee. Minibar with very reasonable prices.
The shared bath and toilet facilities were never a problem during our four night stay, very nice and clean.
Service was fantastic both Ole and Rainer (mostly Rainer, as Ole was only there to serve breakfast one morning) Did all to make you feel VERY welcome and one could feel it was by choice and not that he had to.
Thanks to both for a great ba||x||se for our holiday, we will surely be back at Pension Elefant next time we go to Berlin. Michael/Jesper, Denmark - 83.93.129.206

I arrived in Berlin as a solo traveller who knew very little about the city and found a very comfortable "home away from home" at the pension. Ole and Rainer went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and providedc me with many informative insights to the city. Breakfast each morning was a delight where you often met fellow gay people and engaged in wonderful conversation. Rainer’s home-baked bread is simply wonderful but more importantly, it shows the care to which these two guys go to make everyone feel comfortable. I will stay here whenever I visit Berlin. Rainer and Ole are fabulous. They are excellents hosts and they provide a warm atmosphere. The Pension and the appartment are very well equipped. It is clean and cosy and the rates are well worth the money. Pension Elefant is located in the middle of everything. Almost all the gay venues are within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. So is the metro. Very recommendable. - 86.84.20.3
